Production homebuilders

Scale the operation.
Keep sight of every home.

Manage the repeatable work across communities without losing the detail that makes each lot different.

BUILT INTO THE WORK

From the buyer’s decision to the financial record.

01

A foundation for every community

Organize lots, plans, phases, and unit records so the team starts with a consistent structure.

02

Selections that travel with the home

Carry plans, packages, and design details into the purchasing conversation and project record.

03

Purchasing with cost context

Import takeoffs, compare budgets, issue purchase orders, and track variants and back charges.

04

Field and finance, connected

Bring the work on site and the financial record into the same operating environment.

WORKING EXAMPLES

Start with a business question.

Follow a question from problem to decision.

Illustrative walkthroughs · Sample data.

01

What should this home earn?

The problem

Expected result

The sale price alone does not tell you what the home should earn. Projected home margin includes the costs to build, hold, and sell the home.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

Expected sale
$450,000
Build, hold & sell costs
$350,000
Projected home margin
$100,000

What you do in TK

Review the movement

Review the home’s budget, commitments, invoices, and projection. Open purchasing and job-cost detail to investigate a change.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

Original cost outlook
$350,000
Revised cost outlook
$356,400
Difference to investigate
$6,400

What you see

Revised expectation

Budgets, commitments, invoices, and projections update together as work is recorded. Compare the revised expectation with the original target, keeping each record’s status clear.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

Expected sale
$450,000
Revised build, hold & sell costs
$356,400
Projected home margin
$93,600

The decision it supports

Choose the next action

Decide whether to revise scope, pricing, purchasing, or the estimate for the next home. A projection supports a decision; it does not guarantee profit.

THE HANDOFF

Keep the decision with the home.

Start with the home whose expected cost changed. Purchasing explains the commitment or variant, construction provides the work context, and finance reviews the margin effect. Use the cause to inform the next home’s estimate and the next operating decision.

ThreadKore is the platform and system of record. Orbit analyzes the connected operational and financial information to help your team investigate a question.

Your privacy choices

May we measure visits, estimate your country, state/region and city, and use advertising cookies? Accept enables optional tracking and Google, Meta, and LinkedIn tags. Decline keeps it off.

What we collect

With your permission, we save page views, navigation and button clicks, scroll depth, successful request counts, and page-load and responsiveness measurements for future reports. These activity records never include form contents, names, email addresses, or raw IP addresses.

We also save a network-based country, state/region and city estimate provided by our hosting service. We never request GPS access or store coordinates, street addresses, or postal codes. Estimates may be inaccurate, especially with a VPN, and unavailable locations stay unknown.

New location records expire after 720 days and are excluded from current reports then. Records collected under an earlier 90-day choice keep that shorter expiration. Expired records are cleared as the site receives requests; no location history is backfilled from visits before this consent.

We also keep anonymous, grouped operational counts of request errors, missing pages, form failures, and rate limits to maintain the site. These are separate from optional visitor analytics and contain no visitor identifiers or submitted details.

Google, Meta, and LinkedIn may use cookies to measure visits and personalize advertising. Your choice is remembered for six months; you can change it here at any time. Contact forms work either way.
